​Sara-Chana is also trained in Classical Homeopathy and ​is an International Board-Certified Lactation/Breastfeeding Consultant. As a doula, she helped to deliver 450 babies.

She is also an author, columnist, keynote speaker, adult education teacher, community advocate for women and children, a wife and mother of seven children.
